Jesse Larson – gravel voiced blues singer makes every line of a song his own.
Well, we decided to jump in and pick who we thought were the front runners following the knockout stages. So here goes….
1/ Jesse Larson – with an uncanny knack of making all of the coaches go “Wow” after each performance. He just gets better and better.
2/ T SoulAfter his fantastic performance singing “These Arms of Mine”, there’s no doubt that this amazing vocalist is right there in the final mix
3/ Vanessa FergusonVanessa just managed to pull of a performance of “If I Were Your Woman” that had it been in the final, could have won the whole thing.
4/ JChosenJChosen knows how to sing. With tenderness where it is needed, with roller coaster runs to emphasize the climb and with power to reinforce the punch lines of the lyric. It takes a good singer to be able to bring power where it’s needed, it takes a great one to know when not to use it.
5/ Cris Blue
Anyone who chooses to sing a classic Smoky Robinson song “Tracks of My Tears” and then another classic by Stevie Wonder “Superstition” on The Voice, is either crazy or super talented. Cris Blue aint crazy. He could certainly take the top prize.
All in all, this season of the blockbuster NBC show has produced some great vocalists and we would not want to be in the position of having to send any of these five home. Because the truth is, they are all winners.
